"Our travels with Spiritual Tours were most enjoyable. These people really know New Zealand and they obviously care very much about their clients' satisfaction, from the range of activities and experiences offered to the high quality of food and accommodation provided. We particularly liked the guides' focus on the country's exquisite natural wonders, and how they've shaped the cultures of the people who have lived here.
"The route of our tour was very well thought out; the sights and highlights along the way made our time in New Zealand so much more rewarding than if we'd traveled on our own. We'd definitely do it again, and highly recommend Spiritual Tours to anyone who wants more than a superficial taste of this wonderful country."

My girlfriend and I visited the South Island of New Zealand for 3 weeks (April 17 - May 8, 2010) with Spiritual Tours and it couldn't have been better - it was as close to perfect as possible. We specified our needs and desires and Spiritual Tours fulfilled them at every level - it truly was a rejuvenating vacation. They did all the difficult parts of planning and executing a vacation: making reservations; mapping our destinations; timing our arrivals; all of the driving (New Zealand drives on the opposite side of the road than in the U.S.A.)...and they left all the fun, excitement and relaxation for us. "No Worries," as they say.
We stayed mainly in Queenstown (the adrenaline capital of the world) as our home base and took in many of the attractions of Queenstown and the surrounding area: Skyline Gondola, Restaurant and Luge; TSS Earnslaw and Walter Peak Station; Jet-boating the Dart River; hiking several of the area's famous tracks; visiting several vineyards - Mt. Difficulty, Amisfield and Mudhouse; and visiting many of the nearby towns - Arrowtown, Glenorchy, Wanaka, Kingston and more. We also took two wonderful overnight trips. First, a 3-night visit to Kaikoura (on New Zealand's Pacific East Coast) where we witnessed the most magnificent sunrise we've ever seen. We also, walked the beaches and the rocky shores amongst the New Zealand fur seals that have several colonies in the area, went on a dolphin encounter that was absolutely incredible, and went on a Maori Tour visiting many of their historical sights and a native forest. On our return trip to Queenstown we visited Mount Cook, New Zealand's highest peak, and the exquisite Hermitage Hotel. Our second overnight trip took us to Doubtful Sound (on New Zealand's Tasman Sea West Coast) where we spent an unforgettable evening aboard the sailing vessel, "Fiordland Navigator". Doubtful Sound is one of the most remote areas on the planet and yet the serenity and beauty of the area affects your very soul.
After our first day in New Zealand, we thought, "It can't get any better than this," and yet, it got better every day. Thank you Spiritual Tours for making this such a wonderful vacation. The only thing that kept this from being "the vacation of a lifetime" is that we're planning to return - and we can't wait!...but until then, we've got nearly 7000 pictures to "re-live" our memories.
